Noisy Van Gogh

Tools: JavaScript, p5.js | Source Code: OpenProcessing

Noisy Van Gogh is an assignment I worked on for CS44N: Great Ideas in Graphics. After learning about particle systems and noise, I wanted to create something that looked cool, and landed on distorted paintings. Choosing Van Gogh as my artist was an easy choice since I think his paintings are already quite trippy!

It was super duper exciting to me that I could build something this cool after just a few weeks of class (and with not that many lines of code either). I even ended up teaching a workshop on how to build this at a Code the Change meeting not much later!

You can interact with Noisy Van Gogh (built on OpenProcessing) below!
